We’re back with our favourite campaigns of the week, which include a guerrilla campaign and a spoof video.
London gets a Porking
Peperami caused havoc across the capital this week with its guerrilla campaign that saw London get a ‘mass porking’, to highlight the pothole epidemic around the city. Animal, the Peperami man, cordoned off over 100 of the city’s potholes with #hangryhole tape and filled them with hundreds of the pork snacks. Peperami also asked fans to post pictures on social media of the worst holes in their areas, and it’s been a real hit! What a fun campaign, check out Animal in action.
Clean Eating Burger
KFC is back in our top PR campaigns this week with its latest video, which no doubt had fans of its deep-fried chicken concerned. It announced the launch of a new #KFCcleaneating burger, complete with a cauliflower bun, raw kale, spiralised chicken and ice relish to top it all off. Sound nice? We think not! You’ll be pleased to know that this was all a spoof to launch its limited-edition burger, The Dirty Louisiana – Yum!. A great campaign that created quite the buzz on social channels and in the media.
