This week’s campaigns are early bird Valentine’s entries

With Love from Paris

Our first campaign is a neat idea that could see you and your other half bag a trip to Paris! Safe.co.uk, a retailer of home security products, has created a virtual ‘love lock’ bridge to celebrate its new range of padlocks. People can use the dedicated page on their website to share their very own ‘love lock’ message and be entered into a competition to win a trip to Paris. We think this is a great idea, not only is it nicely timed with Valentine’s day but they’ve found a way to make the launch of a new padlock exciting and fun!

Kraken Rum has enlisted Ken the octopus to help singletons find love this Valentine’s Day. To enter the competition people must tweet a selfie to @KrakenRumUK using the hashtag #Rumantics and then the molluscan matchmaker will select the winning twosome to go on a date. The selection process will even be filmed for fans to watch on The Kraken’s Facebook page. We think this is a perfectly timed campaign that will drum up some interest due to its unique, if not a little odd, dating solution. Tinder, Ken’s coming for you.
